Challenge | The practical bottlenecks in the implementation of design

Although traditional CNC machining or injection molding can produce large enclosures, the Samsung team identified several unavoidable challenges during evaluation:

Curvature and Overall Dimensional Accuracy:
The casing of this monitor is 1.1 meters long and features a large curvature. If it is processed in sections, it is likely to cause discontinuous curvature transitions, which will affect the visual effect.

The pressure of the R&D schedule:
There is less than 10 days left for prototype production from design freeze to the first appearance verification.

Multiple rounds of fine-tuning:
The appearance design may need to be adjusted multiple times during the review process. The traditional mold method is difficult to meet the flexibility requirements.
