*Unlike Formlabs Dental Resins, no intended uses are provided for BioMed Resins. Material properties may vary based on part design, manufacturing practices, and other methods. It is the manufacturer’s responsibility and its respective customers and end-users to determine the biocompatibility and performance of all printed parts for their respective application and use. To instil confidence in potential users, Formlabs has tested biocompatibility and sterilisation compatibility for common use cases and manufactures BioMed Resins in an ISO 13485 certified facility.

2 Data for post-cured samples were measured on Type IV tensile bars printed on Form 2 and Form 3B printers with 100 µm BioMed Amber Resin settings, washed in a Form Wash for 20 minutes in 99% isopropyl alcohol.

3 BioMed Amber Resin was tested at NAMSA World Headquarters, OH, USA.

Post-Processing

Washing

BioMed Amber Resin may be washed using either a Formlabs-validated wash unit or an ultrasonic wash unit.

The foundational step in any SLA post-processing workflow is to remove excess resin on the surface of the parts through an alcohol wash. Please refer to the material's manufacturing guide/IFU for washing instructions.
