SHINING 3D Dental Ceramix-Nano

The Ceramix-Nano is an ultra-compact chairside dental 3D printer designed to produce permanent ceramic restorations within a single appointment. Combining high-precision printing and integrated post-curing in one lightweight system, it creates a simple digital workflow for crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays and onlays.

Powered by SHINING 3D Dental's patented Adaptive Pneumatic Stereolithography technology, the Ceramix-Nano is engineered to process high-viscosity, ceramic-filled materials quickly and accurately while maintaining the structural integrity of the finished restoration.

Chairside Restorations in as Little as 15 Minutes

The Ceramix-Nano can print a single crown in approximately 8 to 11 minutes, followed by on-machine curing in three minutes or less. This enables dental practices to produce permanent restorations chairside, reducing the need for temporary restorations and additional patient appointments.

Key Features

  • All-in-one printing and curing: Combines a high-precision DLP printer with a professional curing module in one compact system.
  • Fast chairside production: Typical printing times of 8 to 11 minutes, with on-machine curing in three minutes or less.
  • Adaptive Pneumatic Stereolithography: Continuously monitors and adjusts layer separation forces to improve printing stability, accuracy and compatibility with ceramic-filled materials.
  • Compact and lightweight: Weighing approximately 2 kg, the system fits easily into a dental treatment room or compact clinical workspace.
  • Calibration-free auto-levelling: Automatically levels before each print to support consistent and repeatable results.
  • Capsule-based material handling: Pre-measured material capsules provide a cleaner and simpler workflow with minimal setup or maintenance.
  • Portable power support: Compatible with suitable portable power banks for greater flexibility within the clinic.
  • Connected digital workflow: Integrates scanning, AI-assisted design, intelligent nesting, slicing and printing through the SHINING 3D Dental ecosystem.

Permanent Dental Applications

The Ceramix-Nano is designed to support a range of permanent restorative applications, including:

  • Single crowns
  • Bridges of up to three units
  • Veneers
  • Inlays
  • Onlays

Patented APS Printing Technology

Conventional resin printers can struggle to process highly viscous, ceramic-filled materials. The Ceramix-Nano uses patented Adaptive Pneumatic Stereolithography technology to monitor and control the peeling force between each printed layer.

This adaptive pressure control creates a faster and gentler separation process, helping to improve print stability, precision and the structural quality of the finished restoration.

Integrated Professional Curing

Once printing is complete, the restoration can be transferred directly into the printer's built-in curing drawer. The integrated curing module reaches temperatures of up to 80°C and completes the curing process in three minutes or less.

An optional aesthetic curing module is also available for oxygen-free curing, helping to produce a smoother, more aesthetic surface finish without requiring a separate post-processing system.

LumiCera Ceramic Resin

Ceramix-Nano uses LumiCera, a ceramic-filled dental resin supplied in pre-measured, ready-to-print capsules. With a 55% ceramic filler content, the material is designed to provide the mechanical strength and aesthetic properties required for permanent dental restorations.

LumiCera is available in five VITA shades: BL, A1, A2, B1 and C2.

Efficient Capsule Production

Each capsule can accommodate up to three crowns or a bridge measuring up to 38 mm, helping dental practices improve material efficiency and chairside productivity.

The capsules are intended for single use, simplifying material handling and reducing cleaning and maintenance requirements between cases.

From Scan to Restoration in One Appointment

The Ceramix-Nano forms part of a connected digital dental workflow that brings scanning, design, printing and curing together.

  1. Scan the prepared tooth using a compatible intraoral scanner.
  2. Create the crown design using SHINING 3D Dental's AI Design platform.
  3. Automatically nest and prepare the restoration for printing.
  4. Load the capsule and begin printing.
  5. Cure the restoration using the integrated curing drawer.
  6. Finish, cement and deliver the completed restoration.
