The Extruder Purging and Nozzle Cleaning Station is used when priming and cleaning the extruder nozzle before starting a print or after a material change. A primed extruder and clean nozzle ensure a successful Printing. The steel pail catches the purged plastic ready for recycling, and the brush is used to clean the tip of the nozzle.
