Tool Steel M2 is a hardenable high-speed steel with a tungsten-molybdenum matrix, which scores with its high toughness. Due to its wear resistance and high hardness, it is mainly used for abrasive tools. Compared to other tool steels, M2 also scores with a higher corrosion resistance.
